Family Story of Caring for Minors

Meet my Godson Khari Skyy.  I have the honor and privilege of being Gommy (as they call me) to three little ones, Khari Renee, Khari Skyy, and William Salam.  Traditionally, godparents were selected to serve as guardians and to ensure the care of minors in the unfortunate event that their parents did not live to see them grow into adulthood.

Today, especially with the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and our ever evolving world, I think it's more important than ever to have legal contingency plans in place to care for minors and other dependent individuals.  Besides, it takes a village to raise a child, and I am grateful to have options to help me fulfill my Gommy duties to the best of my ability.
